Speak Up for Yourself

If you decide to use your primary care doctor or gynecologist please know that just because they may take your blood DOES NOT mean you are being tested for HIV. Ask for an HIV test and whatever you do, DO NOT let them talk you out of it. You deserve to know your status, regardless if your doctor thinks you are not at risk for HIV.
