Whatever Happened to Paid Sick Days?

In the last 20 years employers have cut paid sick days from 10 to 8, says a recent study. Not to mention 40 percent of all private sector workers and 80 percent of low-income Americans in the workforce have no paid sick days at all. Working while sick costs employers some $160 billion a year in lost productivity, says the Center for American Progress. Not to mention, it makes someone even sicker.
