Friendships Lower Riskier Sex Among Homeless Youth

A recent study about teens living on the streets found that girls and young women were more likely to have sex without condoms and have sex with IV drug users for money, food and housing. But researchers found that for these teens who didn’t need to rely on others on the streets and had friends with stable housing they could stay with, they were less likely to engage in riskier sex, reported HealthDay
