Risk Factors for Dementia Can Show Up in Your Teens

A new study found that having low mental functions in your teens can be a pre-cursor for dementia down the road. The study also found that dementia was less linked with genetics and more associated with a past history of drug abuse, alcoholism, depression and past brain injury. Researchers also cited that young African-Americans with a history of strokes were also at risk, reported HealthDay
