Myth 2: Muslims Are Exempt From the Affordable Care Act - Chain emails led to this completely false rumor. The email said the word “dhimmitude,” which refers to non-Muslims under Muslim rule, was written on page 107 of the health care law and exempted Muslims. While there is a "religious conscience exemption,'' which applies to groups that disavow all forms of insurance, including Social Security, Muslims are not exempt.(Photo: David McNew/Getty Images)

"Partial-Birth" Abortion - A non-medical term, "partial-birth" refers to removing the fetus intact by dilating a pregnant woman's cervix, then delivering the entire body out through the birth canal. The Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003 was upheld by the Supreme Court in 2007. Nineteen states have active laws that prohibit this abortion. (Photo: Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images)

Does That Sound Fair to You? - Government employees, unsure whether they will be paid for their furlough days or how long they'll be out of work, have started signing up for unemployment benefits. Lawmakers, however, are still collecting their paychecks during the shutdown. It's in the Constitution.(Photo: Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images)

Myth 5: Small Businesses Will Be Forced to Fire Workers or Cut Hours - Obamacare should not influence small businesses to cut hours or reduce staff. Employers thought that they would have to spend more to cover health insurance if employees worked more than 30 hours per week, but small businesses, with fewer than 50 employees, legally do not have to provide health insurance to their employees.(Photo: Bruce Laurance/Getty Images)

Medical Schools Lack Black Male Students - African-American men made up only 2.5 percent of all med school applicants in 2011, says a recent report. The Association of American Medical Colleges also found that while Black men (30 and older) make up 10 percent of the U.S. male population, they only account for 3 percent of practicing doctors. To increase these numbers, better minority recruitment is needed.(Photo: Joshua Hodge Photography / Getty Images)

On Government and Slavery - "By now, by this time, we only have 20 percent of Black children being raised in two-parent monogamous families with a married man and woman raising those children. It wasn't slavery that did that. It was government that did that trying to solve problems that only God can solve, and that only we as human beings can solve." (Photo: Alex Wong/Newsmakers)

Myth 10: Your Information Isn’t Safe - This myth spawned from the fact that the federal government is building a “data hub,” which will include information such as your Social Security number and birthdate. The system will help insurance marketplaces gather information quickly from different agencies when you sign up for coverage. Critics worry about the security of the system and its possible vulnerability to hackers.  (Photo: Fuse/Getty Images)
