Colon Cancer Up Among Young Adults

Researchers from the University of Colorado found that while most cases of colon cancer occur among the 50 and over crowd, young people are not exempt from this disease and rates among this group are increasing. The biggest gains are among the 20-29 year-old group “where there has been an annual 5.2 percent increase in cases in men and a 5.6 percent increase in women,” writes HealthDay News.
