Some Public Schools Dropping Out of Lunch Program

Over 500 public schools in the U.S. have dropped out of the subsidized lunch program, the Agriculture Department says. Some of these schools blame the new healthier menus handed down by the White House, which are more expensive and not as well liked. But USA Today writes that overall, a majority of the remaining schools say these lunches have been a success and roughly 95,500 schools are still signed on to the program.
