Pre-Existing Conditions

Thanks to the Affordable Care Act, it’s illegal for health insurance companies to deny you for having a pre-existing condition. Pre-existing conditions are illnesses you have been diagnosed with prior to signing up for a new health care plan. So if you have diabetes, high blood pressure, HIV, cancer, etc., you cannot be denied health care.
