Nicole Ari Parker: Getting Black Women to Exercise

Spina bifida is not the only health issue that Parker lends her voice to. Concerned about her own 30-pound weight gain and that her hair was an obstacle for working out, Parker created the Gym Wrap. This headband absorbs sweat from the hair making it easier for Black women to work out and not wreck their do.
