Impoverished children may have smaller brains than their wealthier counterparts, a new report suggests. Researchers from the Washington University say that smaller brain size is not healthy and believe that stress, depression and parental hostility may be factors. The good news: A more loving parenting style may help distressed children and help improve brain development, Reuters writes.
