Former South African President Nelson Mandela Is Very Ill

Former President of South Africa Nelson Mandela is “quite ill” and unable to speak according to his ex-wife Winnie Mandela, the Associated Press reported. Mandela, who turned 95 in July, has tubes to help clear out the fluid in his lungs. Mandela has been battling poor health for the past few years and, most recently, he was in critical condition for a lung infection over the summer. — Kellee Terrell
