Study: Violence Against Women Underreported

The rates of violence against women in the U.S. and around the world are much higher than reported, says a new study. Of the 93,000 assaults and rapes that were recorded in this report, a mere 7 percent of them were reported to the authorities and only 37 percent told their friends and family about it, says HealthDay.Com.
