Can Weight Determine Whether Plan B Works for Women?

The European makers of an emergency contraception identical the U.S.’s Plan B pill have put on its label that the pill is completely ineffective in women who weigh more than 176 pounds. They also admit the pill begins to lose efficacy starting at 165 pounds, Mother Jones reported. The FDA is currently reviewing our Plan B to see if labels are necessary.
