New Breast Cancer Program Raises Awareness for Black Women in Michigan

Susan G. Komen West Michigan’s “I’m Alive” campaign kicks in gear this month. The campaign educates Black women about their breast cancer risk factors and the importance of getting mammograms. Earlier this year, the organization granted $235,000 in funds for other local orgs to help reach vulnerable communities.
