CDC: Americans Eat Way Too Much Salt

Ninety percent of Americans eat too much salt, says a new report conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Health folks recommend Blacks should have 1,500 milligrams a day, lower than the recommended 2,300 milligrams for others. Yet, most Americans consume 3,200 milligrams per day. Too much sodium can put us at increased risk for heart disease and stroke.
