Are African-Americans Less Likely to Use Car Seats?

Babies of color don’t ride in car seats at the same rate as white babies, says a recent report. Researchers found that minority parents were two to three times less likely to use car seats and more likely to have children sitting in the front, which is not recommended. Car accidents are the leading cause of death and injury among children, says the CDC
