African-American Servicemen and Women More at Risk for High Blood Pressure

Researchers from the Armed Forces Health Surveillance Center found that Black adults in the military were 50 percent more likely to have high blood pressure compared to whites, Latinos and other ethnicities. These racial health disparities were shocking given that enrolled service men and women all have equal access to health care on base.
