Parenting Plays Role in Pre-K Young Black Boys

Transitioning African-American boys from pre-school to kindergarten can be rough but successful if parents are involved, says a recent report. Boys had better grades and behavior when their mothers helped them with reading, writing and other learning activities. Also, healthy and respectful interactions between parents also helped performance outcomes, Health Canal reported.
