40 Percent of Parents Don’t Want Their Sons Playing Football

With concussions and high school football being a hot topic, a new NBC News/WSJ survey found that 40 percent of parents would rather have their sons play another sport other than football. Socioeconomics played a role in these attitudes: 27 percent of low-income parents felt this way, compared to 47 percent of affluent parents.
