Restaurants Near Public Housing Tend to be Unhealthy

Access to unhealthy foods is higher among folks living near public housing, says a recent study. Researchers looked at poorer areas of Kansas City, Missouri, and found that 75 percent of the food offered at the 133 restaurants in that area were high in calories and fat and low in whole grains, vegetables and fruits, HealthDay reported
