Black Children With Autism Lag Behind in Talking and Walking

African-American children with autism are more likely to lose their ability to talk and walk compared to white children, a new study found. Developmental regression happens when kids are making great strides, then, out of nowhere, they lose their abilities all together. Children of color are three times more likely to have this happen to them, says Health Day
