Kansas City Bans Smoking in Housing Projects

This month, the Kansas City Housing Authority banned smoking in the city-owned housing developments — outside and inside. This will affect about 5,000 people living in public housing, the Kansas City Star reports. While some residents are happy and feared second-hand smoke, others are furious, accusing the city of infringing on their personal rights.
