Who’s at Risk?

Anyone can be diagnosed with the disease, including children. Women are more likely to have it than men and those with a family history. Age also plays a factor in terms of which type of scleroderma one has. Localized is usually diagnosed in those 40 and over and systemic mostly diagnosed between the ages of 30 and 40.
