New African-American Breast Cancer Program Coming to California

The Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation is launching a new program for Black women in California. This statewide initiative will focus on breast cancer education, mammograms and early detection. In Los Angeles alone, Black women are 70 percent more likely to die from the disease than white women, says a press release. —Kellee Terrell
