Eighty Percent of Those With Mental Illness Are Unemployed

A recent study found that 80 percent of those with mental illness using the public mental health care system are jobless. Researchers from NAMI believe that despite 60 percent of those wanting to work, the lack of support they get from the health care system makes it extremely difficult for them to consistently hold down a job, writes USA Today.
