Looks like the ladies will be holding down the next Black Ball event on November 1. Beyoncé and Carole King have joined a lineup that already includes Oprah Winfrey and host Alicia Keys. This year's annual gala, which fundraises for Keys' Keep a Child Alive foundation to help those affected by HIV/AIDS in African and India, will honor Winfrey's philanthropic efforts.

Beninoise singer Angélique Kidjo will also be honored. She will perform along with Keys, Beyoncé, Carole King and rock group Alabama Shakes, while Whoopi Goldberg serves as the night's emcee.

King has "blazed the trail for women in the music industry," Keys said adding that "women will be rocking the house this year."
