Jamie Foxx joined Trayvon Martin's parents during Saturday's peace walk in the late teen's memory. The "I am Trayvon, Day of Remembrance Peace Walk" community event took place in South Florida's Ives Estate Park and brought in hundreds of supporters. Martin's family wore green shirts with their slain son's face and the words "I am Trayvon," a common chant among those seeking justice for the tragedy.

Foxx, who has an 18-year-old daughter, was on hand during the march and spoke with the crowd about his commitment to keep Martin's story alive. He also sang a song at the end of the rally in Martin's memory.

"The thing is with press, and you know how press goes, it will be a hot story at one point. It will be the thing to go to and, all of a sudden, they try to forget about it. And I said I don't want anybody to forget about this, because they can't forget about the fact that they lost their son," Foxx said. "And the thing is, we're not asking for anything out of the ordinary. We're asking for justice."
