For as long as she's been in a relationship with Chris Brown, Karrueche Tran has been fielding a lot of comments from critics who think she's insane for forgiving him time after time. Not only was he under fire for hitting Rihanna in 2009, but he's left Tran for the singer multiple times only to come running back to the model's arms when things went sour with RiRi. In a recent interview with BlogXilla, Tran opened up about her relationship with Breezy and why no one will understand the unconditional love she has for him.

"It's different," she explained. "And it's something that a lot of people won't and will never understand, which is why I get so much flack and hate because you know looking from the outside in it looks messy. Nobody knows the real story, nobody knows what I went through."

Still, that negative feedback keeps her from being an open book on social media and she admits to keeping certain thoughts to herself so that the public doesn't jump to conclusions. 

"Sometimes I hold back from tweeting certain things. Sometimes you're emotional and you want to tweet a lyric or whatever it may be, I can't do that because if I do it's 'oh this means this and that she must be going through this…' It's like what the hell," she said.

There's no denying that her relationship has thrown Tran into the spotlight and the public has seen her as fair game when it comes to criticizing her decisions without even knowing her. But she says that she's used the situation to find herself and find strength despite the hate she receives.

"I've discovered myself a little more, personality wise just being put through certain situations, whether being in the spotlight, heartbreak, friends coming and going, family. I've grown and I've matured and I kind of like that. Even going back to the haters, it's messed up what they say but that's made me stronger and it's built me into who I am today and I am completely fine with that."
