The mom-to-be pens letter on how things have changed in 20 years.
Evelyn Lozada is super thrilled about her second pregnancy, but in an open letter she penned for Mamás Latinas, the reality TV personality admitted that there was much to re-learn about motherhood.
"OK, so we all know the last time I gave birth was over 20 years ago with my daughter, Shaniece. Currently, I'm seven months pregnant and every time I look at my belly, I still can't believe it," she wrote.
Lozada, 38, said she's turned to close friends to help her navigate her pregnancy and figure out what's different since her last one.
"For instance, I had NO idea that baby food now comes in pouches and I didn't know that you can now purchase organic baby food!" she continued. "Twenty years ago, breastfeeding wasn’t the thing to do. Now I'm getting all of this advice about breastfeeding and how to do it and breast pumps! Still, to be totally honest, I'm not sure that I want to go the breastfeeding route this time around."
She goes on about her excitement over her little blessing and getting ready for the birth, adding that this "represents a new beginning to me and as a more mature mother" and looks forward to navigating motherhood as if for the first time.
