Oprah on Getting Older: "The Absolute Best Part Is Being Able to Be Free"

The media mogul is taking 60 and beyond in stride.

Oprah Winfrey just turned 60 in January, but the media mogul is taking aging in stride. For the cover of O magazine's May issue, Winfrey looks regal while lying down in a purple Carms Couture Designs by Vicky Tiel gown and strappy SJP Collection heels. Inside, she opened up about lessons learned, turning 60 and the best parts of getting older.
"The absolute best part is being able to be free to be and do whatever you want. You can be and do whatever you want to, thanks to exercise and hair color," she said later adding a thanks to Miss Clairol for "the greatest invention of all time for women."
Winfrey also admitted one of her past regrets, which is something we could all take to heart.
"I think the hardest part of aging really is recognizing the time that you wasted and the things that you worried about that really didn't matter," she said. "That's really the hardest part, that's really the only regret that I have."
