Lil' Kim has just announced the sex of her first child and it's a girl! The 39-year-old rapper shared the news over Instagram on Sunday with a photo of a save the date to her upcoming baby shower.

"Happy Easter everyone !!!! What a perfect day to share this wonderful news with U," she wrote for the photo of a pretty pink baby shower save the date featuring a collection of baby items and a jewel-encrusted crown.

Lil' Kim also revealed that event planner David Tutera would be behind her royalty-themed shower to take place in New York City.

"The fab @davidtutera is throwing my royal baby shower for my lil' princess 5/10/14!!!" she added. "Thank U for the awesome graphic @dustyaceti !!!! Muahhhh!!! #TeamLilKim. Love U all so much !!! Muahhhh !!!"

A royalty-themed baby shower? We'd expect nothing less from Lil' Kim as we're certain that little girl will be doted on day and night.
