Nicki Minaj: 'I Demand That I Climax'

The femcee talks orgasms and wage equality with Cosmopolitan magazine.

Nicki Minaj is on a roll. Gearing up to kick off the sold-out North American leg of her PinkPrint Tour, the pink one chatted up with Cosmopolitan magazine for their July issue which she flawlessly covers. In her feature story, the rapper leaves no stone unturned, talking about her no-contest policy on orgasms and equal pay.

"I demand that I climax," she said. "I think women should demand that. I have a friend who's never had an orgasm in her life. In her life! That hurts my heart. It's cuckoo to me. We always have orgasm interventions where we, like, show her how to do stuff. We'll straddle each other, saying, 'You gotta get on him like that and do it like this.'"

While the "Feeling Myself" MC considers herself a "pleaser," she doesn't intend on doing all the work: "It's fifty-fifty," she said.

While sex is important to the platinum-selling rapper, another hot topic that she's passionate about is wage equality. When it comes to business, she makes sure that she gets what she wants and believes that all women should follow suit. She even gives ladies a bit of advice in the process.

"Women are uncomfortable talking about money," she said. "I know it's taboo to discuss it at work. Technically, you shouldn't, but you need to know what people around you are making. Otherwise, you're not going to know what you're worth. You have to ask questions. 'What is this person getting?' Do your research. I've always been pretty competitive in terms of my pay."

Tell it, Nicki! Elsewhere in the interview, the Trinidad-born star talks her latest album The PinkPrint, and her dreams of having a family in the future.

Cosmo's July issue hits newsstands on June 9.
