Zoe Saldana has always been a non-conformist, but we think she may have met her match in husband Marco Perego. The Italian artist, Saldana reveals, decided to take her name after they wed in 2013.
"I tried to talk him out of it," the mother of six-month-old twins admits to InStyle. "I told him, ‘If you use my name, you’re going to be emasculated by your community of artists, by your Latin community of men, by the world,'' she said. "But Marco looks up at me and says, ‘Ah, Zoe, I don’t give a s**t.'"
Saldana also talks about how she and Perego are more connected than ever following the birth of their two children. "Finally, when we had our boys, I looked at my husband and I realized: I was meant for you, and you were meant for me," she says. "I've always felt comfortable around men as long as they were my friends. Now I finally feel comfortable with my lover."
