Ciara Shares the Biggest Lesson She’s Learned About Love
Ciara might have had her heart crushed after her engagement with rapper Future came to an end just months after giving birth to their son, but she’s taken lessons from that failed relationship and others as learning experiences. In a recent interview with Noisey, the 29-year-old singer shared her views on the differences between women and men and what she’s learned along her journey.
“I think that the one thing that’s important for a man when it comes to love is just timing. And that’s true for men and women,” she said. “When it comes to love, females… we’re more likely to be more sensitive and allow ourselves to be more vulnerable. Guys, they’re used to being a little more fearful when it comes to love.”
She went on to explain that unlike women, men are simple creatures when it comes to love and if you want one to commit to you, it’s a matter of catching them at the right time in their lives.
“I think when they decide to open up to love it’s really about timing, and what’s going on in their lives and when they want to,” Ciara said. “You can’t force anybody to love, they have to want to do that themselves. I think men are very simple. We are way more complicated beings, as females.”
Nowadays, Ciara is boo’d up with Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, rustling her ex-fiancé’s feathers by letting her new boo get close to their son. We’ll have to wait to see if these two lovebirds have found each other at the right time.
