Keke Wyatt

The R&B Divas star says she went through years of domestic abuse before she stabbed her ex-husband in what she says was self-defense. Last year she became a spokesperson for Saving Our Daughter's "YELL Confidence" initiative in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. She credits her daughters for pushing her to seek and promote a more peaceful environment.

"Everyone knows I have been in an abusive relationship, and my girls were in the middle of that mess. After that experience I'm very aware of not wanting to re-create an environment like that for my girls. They won't go down that road."
