Russell Wilson (right), is the breakout quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks. This is only his second NFL season, so a win would certainly beef up his credibility. Marshawn Lynch - The man sat in Super Bowl media week with a visor pulled down over his helmet and avoided reporters, only telling Deion Sanders, "I'm just about that action, boss." Beast Mode - You’ve probably used the term “beast mode” with your shameless gym selfies. Don’t worry, we do it, too. However, Seahawks fans reserve this nickname for running back Marshawn Lynch. When you hear folks chanting it, know Lynch is about to turn up. And it’s going to be spectacular. (Photo by Otto Greule Jr/Getty Images)

Richard Sherman Slammed With a Fine for Unsportsmanlike Conduct - Seattle Seahawks star Richard Sherman’s infamous NFC Championship behavior comes with a cost. The NFL fined the cornerback $7,875 for unsportsmanlike conduct/taunting after he did a choking gesture toward San Francisco QB Colin Kaepernick and made gestures toward Michael Crabtree. The league said the fine is not related to his infamous post-game interview.(Photo: Elaine Thompson/AP Photo)

Timing is Everything - Plan to take those crucial potty and snack breaks between each 15 minute quarter of gameplay. Nobody wants to see a booty blocking kickoff. And don’t even think about moving from your seat at the start of halftime. You never know what tricks the performer has up his or her sleeve, and you don’t want to miss the opportunity to chime in on your News Feed during the spectacle. (Photo: John Moore/Getty Images)

Game Time Courtesy - Remember how we told you timing is everything? That goes double for asking questions during the middle of a play. It’s a clear sign of a novice and will certainly get you booted from the viewing party. In all seriousness, at least wait until the play is completed and the announcer has finished his recap. Offense and Defense - The more ball time your team has, the more likely they are to score. So be prepared to go wild with the rest of your friends when your team is playing offense, which means they have control of the football. Just look for your team’s quarterback on the field. Oh, and feel free to boo when the other team’s quarterback is on the field, and your team is playing defense. (Photo: Andy Lyons/Getty Images)

How Do I Earn Points? - Points are earned in a variety of ways, including touchdowns, sacks, field goals, etc. Some plays are worth more than others. For example, touchdowns can be worth more than sacks.(Photo: Al Messerschmidt/Getty Images)

The Numbers Game - If you can count, you can follow how a football game is scored. Touchdowns are worth six points each. An extra point kick is followed by a touchdown and worth one point. A field goal is worth three points when a team decides to go for it instead of a touchdown. See? Easy peasy. (Photo: Al Messerschmidt/Getty Images)

Be Prepared to Cheat - Super Bowl party food is almost as important as the game itself. With that being said, don’t show up to a super bowl party with the mindset of counting calories. Just embrace the deep fried, saucy goodness waiting for you. Consider it as fuel for all the celebrating you’re going to do when your team wins! (Photo: John E. Kelly/Getty Images)
