Stars Come Together to Support Haiti on 106 and Park

Roughly 24 hours after a 7.0 earthquake devastated Haiti’s capital and surrounding areas, stars called into "106 & Park" to help bring relief to the embattled country.

In a two-hour mini telethon entirely dedicated to Haiti, "106" hosts Terrence J and Rocsi took calls from celebrities like Fabolous, Estelle and LeToya Luckett, who urged viewers to lend a helping hand and donate money to Haiti.

Dawn Richard of Dirty Money, who is of Haitian descent called in and revealed that her family was still trying to contact loved ones, while Pras formerly of the Fugees, stopped by to encourage people to donate money and helped put the tragedy into context for the studio audience. Clef did not appear on the show. He arrived in Haiti today to help bring relief to his home country.

With BET News correspondents Sharon Carpenter, Samson Styles and Jeff Johnson chipping in, Terrence and Rocsi provided up-to-the-minute information on the death toll, damages and conducted interviews with Haitian-Americans still awaiting news from their families in Haiti.
