The King’s back. T.I.(born Cliforrd Harris) couldn’t stay away too long as he made his first public appearance alongside his fiancé, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle for “The Lover OF Our Fathers” fundraiser for Alzherimers’s research at Atlanta's Opera last night (Feb. 22).

BET cameras were on hand to film Cottle's "Tiny & Toya" reality show. Surprising a flock of attendees, including Pleaure P, BET host, Memphitz, music producer, Don Vito, Diamond from Crime Mob, Rasheeda and others, T.I. addressed the crowd, briefly towards the end of the ceremony. “I am very well," he offered. "Very happy to be seen."

At the end of the evening, he surprised Tiny with a brand new 2010 blue Porsche Panamera wrapped in a bright red bow. Tiny, whose been eyeing the expensive automobile for quite some time, was elated to have the king back on her side. “I’m so glad to have him home,” Tiny beamed.

Last December, T.I. was released from an Arkansas federal prison after being sentenced 366 days behind bars after pleading guilty to federal weapons charges. Tip is presently finishing the remainder of his shortened sentence in a halfway house in Atlanta.
