Talks between representatives for reality show “Celebrity Rehab” and rapper DMX are underway.
After his latest arrest (March 9) for violating the terms of his probation by using illegal drugs. “He's been battling addiction for some time and he's in need of treatment," DMX’s attorney Gary Jenkins told TMZ. "We’re hoping that maybe Dr. Drew might be able to help him.”
The “Celebrity Rehab” team is now considering sending someone to DMX’s next court case hearing– set for March 16– to speak with the judge in hopes of getting DMX placed in their care instead of being locked up.
DMX (née Earl Simmons) was charged with five counts of probation violation and is being held without bond.
