According to Mariah Carey’s management, the songstress’ "Angels Advocate" remix LP has hit a permanent road block and will not see the light of day. The project was initially slated for a March 30 release.
"Angels" was to feature an assortment of remixes deriving from Carey’s 2009 "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel."
The project started off strong with two iTunes offerings, “Up Out My Face” featuring Nicki Minaj and “Angles Cry” featuring label mate Ne-Yo, but was hindered after several other tracks leaked. Mariah’s management assured her fans via Mariah Daily that the project will not go to waste.
While "Angels" has been shelved, a new project could be in the works. “We are looking to go possibly to another studio album or Christmas album," a source close to the singer revealed. "The decision hasn’t been totally made yet. It’s a creative process that cannot be rushed.”
