Lil Wayne got a job. The self-proclaimed "best rapper alive" is reportedly in charge of keeping an eye on other Rikers Island inmates who are considered a suicide risk.
Antonia "Toya" Johnson, Wayne's ex-wife and the mother of his daughter Reginae, recently told Us Weekly about the rapper's new responsibilities.
"Wayne has a job -- they got him on suicide watch for other prisoners," Toya told Us Weekly. "He watches the crazy prisoners and makes sure they don't kill themselves. He likes the job even though they don't pay him much."
Toya added that Wayne is "doing ok" and that he's "getting along with everybody." As previously reported, Birdman Jr. is presently serving an eight-month sentence for gun possession in Rikers Island.
In related news, the second season of "Tiny & Toya" is scheduled to premiere on BET Tuesday, April 13 at 10 p.m./9C.
