Jim Jones can now add teacher to his list of lifetime accomplishments. Last month, Jones revealed that the NYC Board of Education was in the process of clearing him to teach a music-based class. Now, Jones has reportedly received the ok from the Board.
"I finally got the teacher thing cleared with the Board of Education so I'll be teaching a curriculum once a week for eight weeks," Jones explained to Angela Yee on her Sirius Satellite "Morning After" radio show this morning (April 22).
Though Jones didn't reveal the course's title, he did, however break down the curriculum. "I’m teaching all parts of what goes on in music from the artistry part of it to the executive part of it, to the label owner part of it as well as marketing, promotions and publicity. We’re going to go through the whole motions. We’ll discuss how important a lawyer is to an artist, what exactly a lawyer’s job is, what exactly a manager’s job is."
Details on where and when Jones will be teaching have yet to be revealed.
