Rihanna Talks About Eminem Collaboration | Music News

There is something all too real about the musical collaboration between Eminem and Rihanna on Em's latest single "Love The Way You Lie." The song has sparked much conversation because its subject matter deals with domestic violence, a subject both artists have a real-life connection to. In a recent interview, Rihanna spoke about the decision to do the record, after her highly-publicized domestic feud with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

It's something that, you know, we've both experienced...on different sides, different ends of the table," the singer told "Access Hollywood." "[Eminem] pretty much broke down the cycle of domestic violence and it's something that people don't have a lot of insight on....The lyrics were so deep, so beautiful and intense. It's something that I understood, something I connected with.

The song is currently at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart. The video, which features Megan Fox ("Transformers") and Dominic Monaghan ("Lost") as love interests, has already been shot and is expected to debut any day now, so stay tuned to BET's 106 & Park for more details.
