Prince Sued For Allegedly Stiffing Attorney

Prince is headed to court. His former attorney Ed McPherson has filed a lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court, claiming that the legendary singer owes him close to $50,000 for his services.

According to the suit, McPherson served as Prince's legal counsel in two separate cases and has yet to be paid the $49,987.74 fee.

The document reads that McPherson "performed legal services on [Prince's] behalf in an exemplary manner" and "countless attempts ... to resolve this matter."

Prince's reps have not yet commented on the suit.
