Soulja Boy's pretty boy swag has apparently earned him more money than Forbes gave him credit for.
As previously reported, SB is featured on Hip-Hop Cash Kings, Forbes' annual list of rap's top money makers. According to Forbes, Soulja made $6 million in the past year, placing him in the no. 16 slot and tied with T-Pain. But to let SB tell it, the reports are a bit off.
“I made more than $7 million," he told BET.com. "I’m sure I made more money than some people on the list. I’m blessed and grateful to even be on the list 'cause I’ve been in the game since I was 17. I’m 20 now and I’m on a list with people who’ve been in the game for years.”
As previously reported, Jay-Z came in at no. 1 with $63 million, Diddy at no. 2 with $30 million, Akon took the no. 3 spot with $21 million, Lil Wayne ranked fourth with $20 million and Dr. Dre rounded out the Top 5 with $17 million.
