T.I.'s having a bad month. Less than a week after being cut from the Axe body spray campaign, the rapper has now lost his Rémy Martin Cognac endorsement deal. The news comes only five months after the liquor company signed the deal with Tip.
"Sometimes the 'road to redemption' is a difficult path," a spokesperson for Rémy Martin told Rap Radar. "Regrettably, we will not be able to continue collaborating with T.I. at this time. We wish T.I. well and hope he will devote his time and energy to staying the course."
The back-to-back endorsement losses come on the heels of T.I. being sent back to prison for 11 months for probation violation 11 days ago.
The sentence stems from a recent arrest in which cops found marijuana, codeine and ecstasy in the rapper's vehicle while he was still on probation for federal gun possession.
In related news, Tip will return to Arkansas' Forest City minimum security prison to serve his time for probation violation. He served his time there for his federal gun possession conviction.
