Lil Wayne may have been fairly quiet during his first month out of Rikers Island, but he's sure been making noise this past week.
After releasing "6'7'," the first single off the highly anticipated, "Tha Carter IV," Weezy appeared on "Saturday Night Live" alongside Eminem this weekend. Backed by a live band, he blazed through his lastest release.
After conducting his first on-air interview and making his first live television appearance, Lil Wayne's shot his first magazine cover. The self-proclaimed "Martian" will be gracing Rolling Stone magazine.
"Hello World & Fellow Martians," Wayne wrote on his Weezythanxyou blog. "I hope you enjoyed my Saturday Night Live performance. I can’t describe what it felt like being back in my element. I wanted to share some behind-the-scenes photos from my Rolling Stone photo shoot. The shoot was in Miami two weeks ago and just being able to do this type of stuff again is therapeutic. Be sure to pick up the issue when it hits stands. Thank you to the people at Rolling Stone for the opportunity."
No word yet on when the issue will hit stands. In related news, Weezy's "6'7'" is already no.1 on iTunes. Click here to download the song.
