Tyga Drops New Single

Tyga's no stranger to playing with the big boys.

Sharing mic time with Young Money's three-headed monster, Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj, has helped the diminutive MC sharpen his skills. So it should come as no surprise that "Really Raw," the first single off Tyga's upcoming Summer release, "Careless World," finds the MC standing his ground alongside West Coast juggernauts The Game and Snoop Dogg, and super producer Pharrell Williams.

The Neptunes-produced single was initially slated to drop next week, but an unmixed version leaked onto the internet yesterday, Feb. 03. Tyga, explained how the star-studded collaboration happened.

I always been a fan of [Pharrell] musically so I always knew what kind of music I wanted to make with him," Tyga told BET.com. "Snoop just walked in the studio while we was recording and he was like, 'Yo, I wanna get on this.' He did a verse. And then the next day, Game came in the studio and he was like, 'Yo, Snoop called me. He said I gotta hear this record that he gave to you' and all that. He came to the studio, then he put a verse on it, and it was done."

Tyga's been benefiting from high powered collaborations all year. His guest verse on Chris Brown's "Deuces" earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration and he recently learned that "Stuck in the Moment," a track he recorded with Justin Bieber earlier this year, has been added to JB's "Never Say Never— The Remixes," which is slated to hit stores February 14.

That should be a real big look for me," he said of his Bieber-assisted song. "There’s no limit to what I could do and it should be no limit when you express yourself, especially in music."
