Chris Brown Welcomed Back By ABC

ABC's memo to Chris Brown: Come on back.

The network inviting the R&B singer to appear on "Good Morning America" again just one day after he stormed out of an interview with GMA anchor Robin Roberts, leaving overturned furniture and a cracked window in his wake.

Brown -- who had been on the show to promote his new album "F.A.M.E.," which was released the same day -- got upset when Roberts asked questions about his infamous, violent run-in with ex-girlfriend Rhianna.

While ABC issued a statement shortly after the interview supporting Robert's decision to press Brown on the details of the altercation, the network also wasted no time in smoothing things over with the singer.

On Wednesday morning Roberts said that GMA producers would "love to have him back" on the show, and mentioned that Brown was mulling it over.

"We extended the invitation to him and we sure hope he takes us up on it," she said, "because we'd love to have another chat with him."
