What Chris Brown Stands to Lose After Morning TV Meltdown

How will GMA outburst affect the singer's F.A.M.E.?

After a perfectly executed promotional week leading up to the release of his new album, F.A.M.E., Chris Brown may have risked it all with his angry outburst at Good Morning America. The incident has eclipsed the release this week and shocked observers who were certain Brown had put his past behind him.

It’s as if Brown, who is still on probation after assaulting Rihanna in 2009, hit the self-destruct button just before the finish line. He displayed his violent temper at a time when he knew the whole world would be watching.

Now Brown is looking at some serious consequences, which include damaging his judge’s good will, being booted from a scheduled Dancing With the Stars performance and, most important, losing the support of fans whose trust and respect he worked hard to regain.

GMA has not pressed charges for damages and the “Deuces” singer continued to tweet after the incident. "Thank you to everyone who supports my music!!!" he wrote. "Key Word (music)!!! Love y'all."

“Pretty Girl Rock” singer Keri Hilson took to Twitter to show her support for Brown as well: "Yall go out & get my boy @chrisbrown's new album 'F.A.M.E' in stores TODAAAAY!!!" She added that Brown was "superhuman. His talent is undeniable. I'm proud of you, CB!! Love you!"
